Hello everyone. We have been quiet because we were busy practising for our forthcoming season and getting ready for our first public appearance of our season.
Here is our May Day programme for Thursday May 1st which is our traditional 12 parish programme to welcome the arrival of Spring. It is loosely based on various towers around the island. We say loosely because some of the towers are not where we want them to be so we have been creative with our planning.

THE TOUR DES TOURS
1. St Clement:0715 Le Hocq Tower
2. Grouville: 0800 La Rocque Harbour (overlooking Seymour tower and close by La Rocque tower, privately owned in a nearby house.)
3. St Martin: 0845 Dance by the St Catherine’s café (with a nod in the direction of St Catherine’s tower (by RNLI station)
4. St Saviour: 1015 JADC car park…. From where one could have seen Prince’s tower at Hougue Bie!
5. Trinity: 1100 Bouley Bay, looking across to Fort Leicester.
6. St John: 1145 By the parish hall, which has a tower.

7. St Ouen: 1300 Lewis tower ( sort of opposite Jersey Pearl)
1330 Lunch stop
8. St Peter: 1500 the Windmill/Catherine Best (Martello tower)
9. St Mary: 1545 in front of the rectory, overlooking the church and it’s steeple.

10. St Lawrence: 1700 In front of St Lawrence Parish hall ( it has a tower)
11. St Helier: 1745 First Tower (on the seaward side).
12. St Brelade: 1830 Portelet Inn, overlooking Janvrin’s tomb. Come and join us as we dance and celebrate our twelfth parish.
